After staying at a couple of small hotels in hanoi, i believe the time to be one of the best. the staff are kind and professional, and we were always greeted with a smile. our room was large, and there was more than enough space to fit all of our bags.

This was my second stay is Golden Lake Hotel Hanoi and I couldn't have been happier. The staff welcomed me back by name and made me feel special. Any requests I had were very promptly dealt with. I was given a complimentary upgrade to a suite and it was superb! The hotel is fairly new and the rooms were tastefully decorated. The beds were comfortable with flat screen TV's and a good selection of cable TV channels. Each room has a PC with complimentary Internet access available throughout the hotel wirelessly as well. The suite is rather decadent with a large walk in shower and spa bath with coloured LED lights. Just a shame to be there by myself. robert  -   Australia

This was my first stay at Golden Lake Hotel and I thought it was great value for money and comfortable. The hotel is less than a year old. The beds were comfortable and the hotel clean. The staff made every effort to assist with any inquiry I had.

its very clean and comfortable. The hotel looks quite new from inside. The location is at the tip of the old town area which is not that noisy compared to the central old town.you can walk for 10-15mins to the old town central and everywhere. We walked all the places,its quite interesting cos you can discover different streets and aspects of the vietamese people lives. yasi  -   China

Though the building is older and my room had a slightly musty smell, the room itself and linens were clean and fresh and it the room I was given, apparently an upgrade from my original reservation, was one of the largest hotel rooms I have stayed in an any Asian city, particularly its huge bathroom. The staff was friendly and helpful, booking me a good fixed-price taxi to the airport for my departure and quickly resolving a minor problem I had with the hot water. The location was great - right beside a colorful temple and a short walk from Hanoi's Old Quarter but on a less crowded and quieter street. The included breakfast buffet,, was fine and the top floor dining area had a great view.

Pearl Hanoi hotel is just a 200-300m from old quarter and the rate is than cheaper. it have a nice roof restaurant where you can enjoy the sunset of the city and the breakfast is ok. all the room are clean, morden and the have enough space to walk around. i will live in here again next time. tsui -   Hong Kong

Great hotel with helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast. Clean rooms iwth lots of hot water. Just outside the Old Quarter, about a 15 to 20 minute walk to the lake. Big plus we had heat. Rooms at the back were quiet. Would definatley stay again. len B.  - Canada

Pearl Hanoi hotel is located northern side of the old quarter..quite far from han kiem lake but walkable to the lake in 15 to 20 minutes..but near the dong xuan market though.. most of the staff is friendly and try to accomodate what you requested...value for money.. amnah S.  - Malaysia

Golden Lake hotel services are fantastic with friendly staffs. the manager and staffs at the hotel were welcoming and willing to help with any of our enquiries. our room is large and comfortable. the buffet breakfast is plentiful and delicious. the hotel was just a short walk into the heart of the old town, and around 10mins walk to the central lake. perfect. highly recommend!.
